Description
Myrddin Wyllt returns to Asmeril with Shadowmoon and Pheszeltan. Ithryn had only recently become a man in the eyes of the elven community, and he was counted as the most beautiful of elven men in Aered Amon, his ancestry with Earmin more apparent with each passing 10-year. His younger sister, too, was considered the image of her mother Elwing who also was reknowned for her beauty. Ithryn had shown great skill and affinity for the arts of the druid and ranger, and his song voice was clear and perfectly trained. He was already training with his mother and father and had learned much.
Myrddin, Pheszeltan, and Shadowmoon arrived in Asmeril to meet Ithryn in November of 596. When Ithryn saw Shadowmoon walk through his garden entrance, he was stricken with awe and love. Her beauty and grace were incomparable. She was like an angel manifested before him, glowing in the soft light of the morning sun. Both Caldorin and Elwing bowed before Myrddin and the others, welcoming them to their home. Elwing noticed right away the effect Shadowmoon had on her son.
Shadowmoon too noticed the beauty of the young elven man before her, but over the course of their visit, she notice he was wise beyond his years, quiet and self confident. The spark of their love had been ignited.
By the end of the day Ithryn had agreed to train with the Hierophants, and with all the others standing around, Shadowmoon stepped forward and said that she would be his personal teacher. Neither Myrddin nor Pheszeltan questioned her.
