Beregon
NG Human Danemar male, Ranger 7 / Druid 7 (Initiate of the Cabal)
Beregon was one of the seven selected Initiates of the Cabal, along with Ithryn, during the 9th century of the Second Age. Beregon is a noble born Danemar, a talented Ranger turned Druid.
Though Beregon is short for a Danemar noble, standing 5'11" tall, he is still tall relative to the average human. Beregon became a true friend to Ithryn who shared his passion for the forest and nature. Beregon was also a friend of Morinehtar and served under him for a time as a Ranger. Morinehtar was a Shadoweir in the service of Mielikki and son of Pallando. This was significant because it was the Hierophant Pallando who became Beregon's master during his study with the Initiates. Pallando chose Beregon for his integrity and humility over his other considerable talents.
Beregon completed his studies and graduated as an Initiate of the Cabal along with Ithryn and the others. As was the custom, Beregon wears his Ring of the Hierophant in the manner of their master, which for Beregon, he wore a silver ring set with a large Moonstone. On one side was inscribed the sigil of the Initiates of the Cabal, and on the other side of the ring was inscribed the seal of the Cabal of Hierophants.
Beregon was 25 when he joined the Initiates of the Cabal, putting him at the age of 40 when he finally completed his training. He now is a member of the Druids of Duir at the rank of 9th Circle, as all Initiates of the Cabal are positioned. Beregon uses his influence and talents to further the aims of the Druids, help establish peaceful relations between the neighboring countries, and he works closely with the Rangers of the North and Bards in the effort to gather information and news about the world.
